Next Task in Line
Today is the second Saturday where I am free from studies. No, it should be the 3rd Saturday. Yes!
I might be free from studies but I still have a project to consider. Have to attend the briefing for the project again. I’ve attended it last year and defered the project last minute because I don’t think I can ever hand in a good report since I had absolutely nothing to show my progress T_T
To think that I’ve attended all the workshops that have been conducted on how to conduct good survey questions, the number of people to survey and why just surveys alone do not help the project. Just reporting the results of the survey is not enough, I still have to provide some insight on why they people have given such results. *Shudder* I vow to stay away from surveys as far away as possible.
Hopefully, I don’t have to conduct any surveys. It’s tiring to gather the number of people to help in the surveys. Just look at those people at MRT stations trying to get strangers to complete 3-question surveys. When it comes to desperate measures, the surveyors will just get their friends and relatives to fill up the required number of surveys to meet the quota and in the end, the results may not be the real sample of what people really think of a certain product/service.
The workshops not only teach us how to conduct surveys but also how to write a good report. The number one rule is spelling and grammar. If a sentence does not make sense to the writer. Then, it will not make sense to the reader either. The number two rule is no plagiarism. It has been emphasised a lot of times throughout my 3 years of assignments.
I need to gain my interest in finding and doing the project again. Maybe it’s due to the medicine or the stress or the lack of sleep that I can’t find the energy for anything else right now. I think I have lost the capability to think properly for now.
