Life’s Balance
Things are heating up. New candidates will be introduced. The recent news of new swimming complex does seems suspiciously an attempt at making people happy for that moment. Yes, the elections are coming.
This is the the first time such news has made headlines. The Buangkok MRT? It opened for use, finally. After the cupboard white elephants (they looked cute, BTW) were placed. Seems so suspiciously close to the coming elections, eh?
It always seems that facilities will be built or some give outs will be done when the time has come. Why?
Things could have been done a long time ago, so why now?
Sometimes, in life, we take action only when things happened. Somehow, we have been proactive instead of initiative. I wonder if it’s something to do with the current situation.
The ramps could have been built had we thought that far. The lifts at every floor could also have been done. The common corridors but each flat still maintains its privacy, no windows should be facing the corridors could have been designed. Since we don’t have any privacy online, our own apartments should have some. The size of the windows have reduced instead of taking the whole width of the walls. However, some new flats have the living room windows from top to bottom, left to right. If I were to look from the 5th story, I think I have Altophobia. I won’t dare to hang out in my living room!
Unfortunately, I wished that I could just have the life right up to my door. Condo living, huh? Sometimes, carrying heavy things and taking the lift up to the common floor, I still have to walk up another level before I can reach my home.
Life can be full of surprises and mundane too. It’s called balance. Sometimes, there just nothing to do and sometimes, there’re so many things to do suddenly. Recently, I re-discovered my first love, reading. Stuck in romance right now. I haven’t found any fantasy books that are so compelling enough for me to read.
Yikes! Time to continue that assisngment!
